(3) Then download the next file "Raw Data" [excel file].

(4) There are multiple different ways to analyze these data and most of them are basically correct. Try to remember the steps that we discussed in the course.
  1. Cleaning the data by removing the extra rows below the patient data
  2. Importing data to SPSS
  3. Data coding
  4. Normality testing***
  5. Describing the study population
  6. Calculating the decrease in VAS pain score
  7. Testing whether this decrease was significant or not? (testing the post value against the baseline)
  8. Make some graphs for a visual representation of the pain score and its decrease

(6) Make the analysis on SPSS

(7) Write the results in a word file

(8) Compare the results to the results in the published paper

(9) Try to improve your work again by simulating the results in the published paper and compare it again.
